About This Mod

Welcome to Commander's in Conflict.


You may have already played Sonnenblume, the first map, and a one-on-one game mode in the official release of SPEED5's Hearts of Iron IV. Now get ready for the first season of Commanders in Conflict. In the first season, you will be presented with three cards, 12 factions (six per country), balancing and error correction!


This game mode is a smaller version of the Hearts of Iron IV card, on which Axis and Allies face off against each other. The map is set in North Africa in 1940. The essence of the game is to surrender (completely defeat) the opponent before the end of time or save most of the important winning points.


The game mode consists of two phases: preparation and battle. The tuning phase is the first year in which players begin to plan and develop their industry and possibly choose a faction. 365 days after the game's start, one of the game's events automatically declares war, and the war phase begins. Since then, players have achieved victory in one of two ways.


Method of victory


Victory at Surrender.


Winning a surrender is when a player completely destroys another player by occupying their territory and surrendering, or when a player surrenders before the time limit expires.


Winning on points


Winning on points is achieved when all or most of the key victory points are reached at the end of the 60 minutes of play. Key points are always displayed in the solution pane.


Winning points also give the player additional resources, so keeping them can be a tactical advantage.
