About This Mod
Welcome to the official alpha release of fashion Hearts of Iron IV: Era of Discovery!
Era of Discovery is a historical fashion set between 1494-1560, with a start date of 1550-1560 and an earlier start date focused on various moments of the Italian Wars. The mod is intended to cover historical events of the late 16th century, including the Protestant Reformation, the Italian Wars, and the Religious Wars. He would then focus on colonizing America, Africa, and Asia.
Currently, the mod is in the alpha 0.1 stage, and many things have not yet been finalized. At the moment, fashion should be interesting. Available features include:
Start dates and realistic population for 1550, 1493, 1510 and 1525.
Focal trees for the main countries: France, Spain, Austria (WIP), England, Scotland, Russia, Papacy and Ottoman Empire.
Portugal, Savoy, Brandenburg and Poland are in the process of being created.
Specialized leaders, states and generals such as Charles III, Duke of Lorraine and Albert I, Duke of Holstein.
Lots of events.
Special ideologies and property interactions.
Specialized icons creating the sensation of the XVI century.
Reworked Nations.
The Mechanics and Technology of Colonization.
User economic mechanisms based on Europa Universalis IV.
The project is still at an early stage of development and will be regularly updated. The current plan is as follows
Refinement of the trick trees.
Adds focus trees.
Add events.
Limited technology recycling.
Specialized species for major national armies.
Adding attractions such as the Palace of Westminster, the Louvre, St. Peter's Cathedral and St. Sophia.
