Set in the turbulent era of China's Warring States, Hearts of Iron 4's historical fashion follows cunning warlords and revolutionary conspirators whose names have left their mark on Chinese history. Our team created the well-known Minor Scenario: Warlord Era, the successor to the famous Minor Scenario. Discover the untold history of warlords in this scenario, set in 1919, at the beginning of the Warlord Era in China and the May Fourth Movement.


Beta 0.1 - Enter The Three Dragons - allows you to play as one of the three main clicks that dominated the Chinese political scene at the time:


The Anhui clique, led by the ambitious Duan Tsirui and his political club.

The Tzu Lian clique, a militaristic group led by General Feng Guoshang.

The Mukden clique, led by the "king of the northeast" Zhang Zuolong. Unite China under one of these warlords! At least let's do it. ......



At dawn on May 4, 1919, Chinese students filled the streets of Paris and Beijing to protest the injustice of the Paris Peace Conference. Although China bled for the Triple Pact in World War I, its demand for respect and dignity in the international arena was ignored. Duan Qirui and the Anhui clique angered intellectuals for their cooperation with Japan. Feng Guo Zhang of the Zhuli clique counted days to realize his dream of making peace with the south. To the north, General Zhang Zuolun took the first step in his plan to conquer China, targeting Jilin province and attempting to overthrow the defiant leader Meng Guanyuan. The future of the Middle Kingdom remains uncertain, but one thing is certain.
