Metro: Genesis attempts to recreate the apocalyptic world of the acclaimed Metro 2033 in Hears of Iron 4.
In 2013, the world is in the midst of a nuclear conflagration. Humanity has been wiped out. Only a handful of survivors took refuge in the Moscow metro.
The year is 2028. Fifteen years after that event, humanity is still on the verge of extinction. They roam the station city under constant threat of mutants and humans. The neo-Nazis have regrouped and are consolidating their power on Pushkinskaya Street. Cold capitalist gangs are turning their eyes to the neighbors - the socialist Red Line strongholds now experiencing political crisis. Meanwhile, in the dark and murky depths of the underground, an insidious force is emerging...
