About This Mod

It was 1936, 18 years after Leon Trotsky seized power in the Soviet Union. Since then, the world has changed dramatically, with state after state falling as a result of what has come to be known as the "Trotsky World Revolution." Eastern Europe is now under the iron rule of the Soviets, and France, Germany, and Britain, too, have fallen in the face of communism. In the East, even once-mighty China is engulfed in a civil war that is tearing the country apart. But not everything is fine for Trotsky and his allies. Somewhere in the world, Stalin is hiding, deprived of Soviet leadership, and plotting revenge. And, perhaps even more imminent, a revival of the US, which has been acting with increasing aggression and issuing statements to stem the spread of communism. Will the Trotsky Revolution triumph, or will the US remain the last bastion of democracy and arrest the spread of communism once and for all?


The Last Bastion is an alternative history fashion for Hearts Of Iron IV, which tries to depict a world where Leon Trotsky led the Soviet Union and spread his revolution around the world.


The Last Bastion includes a completely unique map of this new Trotskyist world. Some countries are familiar to us, such as the United States. Others, such as the British communes and the Weimar Republic, have undergone radical changes. Others, such as the Bavarian Commune and the Benelux Alliance, are entirely new states. What will happen to these states when they are in your hands?


Currently, there are five national focus trees and a brand new common tree in The Last Bastion. Currently, the following trick trees are featured in the game
