About This Mod
World Ablaze is a global project to completely recycle vanilla games to make them more complex and historic. It includes a greatly expanded technology tree, improved AI, a new focus on each country, and many small changes to improve gameplay.
Maud also pays close attention to historical statistics and dates, but some concessions have been made to the balance. Because the war is supposed to last until 1948, some post-war technology was also incorporated after 1948 to account for the arms race taking place during the war.
Features of MoD.
A more robust and dangerous AI (especially if one follows historical paths);
Unique art of all new technologies, including vanilla;
Expanded technology trees for all countries;
Recycled and extended focus trees of Germany and the Soviet Union;
A new system of severe weather;
Unique technology trees for every large and some small country;
Complete rebalancing of game mechanics;
New color icons for divisions;
New decisions and events; and more historical play (D-Day, Polish Uprising);
Increasing research bonuses with Army XP;
Focus tree improvements;
Changes in borders and categories of States;
More realistic construction: each building in each province is more expensive and takes longer to repair;
Economic changes to accurately reflect military losses.
