If the mod is out of date or not displayed at all, there may be a problem with the launcher:

1. Put all the mods in a private collection. So you can delete and re-register them all at once, which will save you a lot of time and make your life easier.

2. disable all mods.

3. 3. delete everything in /Documents/Paradox Interactive/Hearts of Iron IV/mods_registry.json. It is not necessary to delete the file itself, and I do not recommend it, because after trying I checked the integrity of the file and it did not come back.

4. delete all ugc mod files you are not working on. This is the source of the problem, as it will remain even if you uninstall the mod itself. ugcs is located at /Documents/Paradox Interactive/Hearts of Iron IV/mod.

5. reinstall all mods.

Does this mode support multiplayer?

It's a mod for graphics only, so it will work. Multiplayer compatibility also means Iron Man compatibility.

Is this mode compatible with game saves?

See above. If you upload a saved game, the animated portrait will be replaced with the normal one.

What happens when HOI4 is updated?

We'll get started as soon as possible and release an update.

When will the next update be available?

Are there animated portraits?

No, there are no portrait animations. However, it is possible to experiment in other ways.

Can Male Names Become Female?

No, since most portraits are art without character names, and changing names would also violate Iron Man's compatibility.
