About This Mod
A mod for HoI 4 that adds Europa Universalis IV ideas to the game.
Maud adds 7 factions of 64 ideas and 27 policies that can be purchased in exchange for political power.
Groups of ideas are divided into three categories
Governance: administrative ideas, economic ideas, innovative ideas, communist ideas, democratic ideas, fascist ideas
Diplomacy: ideas of trade, ideas of diplomacy, ideas of intervention, ideas of influence, ideas of big ships, ideas of submarines
Military: ideas of leadership, ideas of quality, ideas of quantity, ideas of attack, ideas of defense, ideas of air combat
Each group of ideas has five policies, and to fully open it, you need to open your own group of ideas and another group of ideas.
Each country has eight idea slots, which open by date, one per year from 1937 to 1944. Selecting an idea group for each slot unlocks the idea and provides a certain bonus.
Other countries have seven national ideas, two traditions, and one passion, which are unlocked when these ideas are implemented. To unlock all national ideas and gain ambition, you need to unlock at least 35 ideas.
There are currently 15 unique national ideas and one common idea.
Maud has been tested on version 1.13.1.
