About This Mod
Hearts of Oak 2 is designed to continue the spirit of the original Hearts Of Oak and provide a more complete World War II experience without undue complication or destabilization. The goal of the game is to provide excellent gameplay within the rich history of World War II.
The mode supports both multiplayer and single-player modes, with priority given to multiplayer modes; AI is optimized for this mode and is generally quite capable.
Hearts of Oak features unique technology trees, trick trees, designers, and advisors for all the major and non-commissioned officers who fought in World War II. In addition, focus trees last longer during combat, making combat units valuable because the country's industrial potential takes time to develop.
