About This Mod
Description: The The Enhanced Camera review is an add-on to Garry's Mod that allows players to see their own body and is based on the Oblivion/Skyrim/Fallout fashion of the same name. The source code was originally based on Gmod Legs 3, but has been heavily modified and now has little in common except for similar purposes. We can say that it is in beta-testing status. Why not Gmod Legs/Immersive First-Person As the name implies, Gmod Legs only displays the player's feet. It also requires a server-side component; Immersive First-Person works entirely on the client side, but does not use the view model and changes the camera origin (thus narrowing the aiming); Enhanced Camera, like the Oblivion/Skyrim/Fallout mod of the same name, combines the view model with the world model and does not change the camera origin. What this plugin does and does not do What Enhanced Camera does: As long as sv_allowcslua is enabled, it will work on the client side even on those servers where the plugin is not installed. If a server component is installed, the player's height changes dynamically depending on the model. What Enhanced Camera can't do: works 100% if the model path is broken, if an additional server component is not installed! Show shadows (you can also use cl_drawdownshadow, but this will not match the first-person perspective and will not show weapon shadows) Console commands and cvar on the client side: all these settings can be configured on the Options tab of the Tools menu. cl_ec_ enabled 1 (default): show body in first-person view 0 : hide body in first-person view cl_ec_showhair 1 (default): show hair (bones on head) in first person view 0 : hide hair in first person view cl_ec_vehicle 1 (default): show body in transport Show body in transport 0 : hide body in car cl_ec_vehicle_yawlock 1 (default): Limit Vehicle Yaw If cl_ec_enabled or cl_ec_vehicle is 0, the yaw will not be limited regardless of this setting. 0 : Limit vehicle yaw Does not limit the yaw of cl_ec_vehicle_yawlock_max (default: 65 ): The angle (in degrees) at which the driver can look away from the center of the vehicle when the cl_ec_vehicle_yawlock function is enabled. cl_ec_refresh Reload the model. Useful if changing the player's model for any reason does not update the first person model. cl_ec_toggle Enables/Disables the first person view of the case. cl_ec_toggle Enables/Disables the first person view of the case when it is inside the vehicle. cl_ec_toggle Enables/Disables the first person view of the case when it is inside the vehicle.
