About This Mod

Simple registry editing to enable high processor priority for the FFXVI executable. This will help improve performance on weak processors. Helps reduce stutter on all processors. Productivity improvements are not guaranteed, sometimes can be worse (although this is unlikely). Mileage can vary. The main improvement that this mod can give is a reduction in stuttering, even if the FPS remains the same.


It also appears in the game's demo.


The mod does not modify the game files and does not break during updates.



Simply run the Install .reg file to enable the changes.


Run the .reg file "Uninstall" to delete the changes if you have problems.



An additional file is available for "Above Normal" priority if you have high issues.


The file needs to be run only once and will be installed until you uninstall it.


You can run files from any folder.


You must be able to edit the registry (administrator in Windows).




This can also be done using Bitsum's "Process Lasso" if you prefer to use it (I also use it). These registry files provide an easy solution, so you don't need any additional software. In fact, there are many ways to make changes, but it's just a simple and convenient way that doesn't require technical knowledge.
