About This Mod

 Molerate is your superfriend in the wild. The day before the fateful night in Goodspring, the courier met an orphan on the road and took him into care. When you start a new game, he'll be waiting for you outside Doc Mitchell's house. Molerata has over 250 lines of professionally voiced dialog: Cook for you, camp after 8pm You can teach him new skills using SPECIAL attributes He will sometimes chat, comment on the void and sing road songs He has a backstory to share with you when you travel with him on his way to Vegas Depending on how you answer his questions along the way, you will get one of four possible benefits Installed as usual in your preferred fashion manager; requires 4 major DLCs For JIP CCC users: Avatar made for him by Valthorix; : Molerat - JIP CCC Avatar No known incompatibilities. If you have compatibility issues or errors, please report them in the "Forum" tab on this page. Theoretically, a mod that changes the terrain in front of Doc Mitchell's house might cause problems when first meeting Molerate, but no such mod has been found. In comparison, PaladinHoss's Buenos Fuentes mod works perfectly in Molerate; the new fraction armor added by the mod is not determined by its advantage, but the mesh and texture modifier work normally. This is by no means an incompatibility, just a caveat: Note that Molerate has unique facial textures, so if you use a mod to revise NPC with a texture modifier (such as New Vegas Redesigned), the neck seam will be visible Please note that the neck seam will be visible. If you are concerned, copy facial textures from the standard male directory to textures/characters/winston in connection with JIP CCC and other modes like "hire anyone": When you first hire a Molerata, hire him in the usual way (from the dialog menu), without using the functions of other modes. Otherwise, the task will not start.
