About This Mod

SUMMARY:

Removes the monochrome (shades of green) display in Pipboy, making it ready to display colors. The default color display is black and white.

Some mods add color to Pipboy screens (see below and screenshots).

Colors are inherently better than monochrome. World maps, color icons, animations and fonts make Pipboy more cute and sexy!

No need to edit the game ini file, so it's for lazy people!

It works at 100%. (let's see)

BORING:

Sets the peep-boy as a color, contrasting it with a monochrome shade of green, where cards and fonts turn blue from this saturated layer.

By default, colored means black and white because these colors better pass through the green layer.

So when it is removed, black-and-white screens with a painful contrast are produced (for some).

There are modes that give color to white shapes and fonts.


A non-monochrome display is required to use a color world map (yeah!) and to use mods that add color to Pipboy screens, as shown below.


NMMCP should work anyway. Even if the game .ini file has the opposite setting.

You can switch from monochrome to color Pipba by activating/deactivating the .esp of this mod.


If you switch to color, you will need mods to superimpose some of them on white shapes and/or maps to replace the bleak by default.


NMMCP can be used before setting up a color world map:


Satellite World Map

The 8K card is probably the best. The level of detail is actually the best. The colors are magnificent.

Immersive 2K 4K 8K cards from Reptileye

Also great. Displays a different color palette than SWM. There are special settings for it in Z-o E.

XunAmarox's Combo Satellite Color Map

Was made from SWM, the useless desert was cut off, the troubled .esp was removed, and it provides overlay markers

for those who are eager to find a place or not.

I made NMMCP to facilitate the installation of my Color mods for Pipboy/Barter/Container screens (including DEF_INV resources).

It is part of Gold Kit for Color Pipboy, so you don't need to install this mod if you have installed GKCP.


Gold Kit for Color Pipboy - anti-black and white screen

Provides color icons/animations/fonts for all Pipboy screens, as well as color icons for Bartter/Container windows.


Realistically weightless color sorting mod

In combination with DEF_INV and GKCP, it provides sorting of objects and display of color icons instead of [verbal] tags before objects on inventory/barter/container screens. 16 tabs/50 tags/color icons.


Zoom extension for world and local map

Enables you to zoom out of the world map and the local map. In this case, the fonts on the map and some or all of the map markers are colored.
