About This Mod
This mod significantly changes the perch system in Fallout London, adjusting the SPECIAL requirements and changing the level limits. It creates a more flexible progression system while maintaining the stability of the game.
Key Features
SPECIAL Scaling: Adjusts SPECIAL requirements based on the rank of the pen.
Modified Level Restrictions: Relaxes level-based perch selection restrictions with a few exceptions.
Maud increases requirements for low rank perksFor multi-rank perks that originally had low SPECIAL requirements, mod increases requirements for each subsequent rank.
Example: Iron Fist (5 ranks)
Original: Flat requirement 1 STR for all ranks.
Modified:
1 rank: 1 STR
2nd rank: 2nd STR
3rd rank: 3 STR
Rank 4: 4 STR
Rank 5: 5 STR
For multi-rank Perks that initially had high SPECIAL requirements, mod reduces requirements for early ranks.
Example: Ricochet (3rd rank)
Original: Flat requirement 10 LCK for all ranks.
Modified:
1st rank: 8 LCK
2nd rank: 9 LCK
3rd rank: 10 LCK (unchanged)
Modified Level Restrictions
Most Perks are no longer dependent on the character's level, allowing for more diverse builds in the early game.
Important exception: Tiered feathers (e.g. Iron Fist) maintain level requirements between 1 and 5.
This is very important to maintain the stability of the game and prevent crashes.
Example:
Rank 1: Level 1
Rank 2: Level 2
Rank 3: Level 3
Rank 4: Level 4
Rank 5: Level 5
Scope of changes
These changes affect the Perks, which are potentially useful in combat.
The crufting perks remain unchanged in terms of SPECIAL requirements and level limits.
This mod aims to create a more balanced and flexible development system in Fallout London while ensuring game stability. It allows earlier access to a wider range of perks, but retains some progression based on level for multi-level perks to prevent technical problems.
