Real Champion

Real Champion is a mod that changes the texture of items/armor from Dragon Age 2.

The champion's armor was supposed to be the best armor for DA2, but unfortunately there are serious problems (technically/visually) with the armor that comes with the game. Obviously someone from Bioware tried to make them (armor) more visually attractive, but unfortunately it didn't work out as intended. This method does not work very well/accurately with variable shaders/FX effects. But enough aesthetic problems and technical claims).

This is the new (Full HD) version of my True Champion in high resolution! Despite the obvious visual similarity to my previous version, this is a nearly new set, never seen before. All the armor jewelry of the champion is included.

If you're looking for other armor (mages), see "Common People (MOD)"; if you're looking for the armor of a great warrior, see "Knight"; if you're looking for armor (outcasts), see "Villains."

In my Ambient series (Kirkwall*, Commoners, Elves, Villains, Villains, Qunari), entirely new/different game worlds (DA2) can be created - made to be close to the skin/style of these armor. If you are interested, take a look at the Nexus (DA2).

* Kirkwall, the latest and most important addition to the series, is the most important of all, as it has been made along with many other (important) to be a clear and seamless bridge (re)textures between in-game (light) and my objects (dark) from Bioware.

If you don't like the new view, remove Dalls_Real_Champion.erf from Bioware.

Bugs/conflicts: unknown, but please note that these retextures, like everything else I did (games), are for/work best with GAMMA video settings between 1.7 and 2.4!

note about v2.0: we have successfully fixed this issue and fixed a (technical) bug in Bioware.

note to v2.1: this is basically the same as v2.0, but the metal parts of all armor (all classes) are a bit shiny, but it is a "good" / well-treated (metal) shine rather than a high gloss / plasticizing Biowares. If you need less glitter, use v2.0.

About version 2.2: A very important and major (technical) update that makes already very good textures (most armor) even better). Textures are finally presented in Real HD (HR) format. If you have an older version (v2.1), please remove it manually!

Usage:

You can freely use it, but if you want to use the provided files (in it) for modding, please ask me for permission!
