About This Mod
As of this writing (October 15, 2023), the original fashion author has not visited the site since February 7, 2023, and has not updated Drive Carefully since September 27, 2022. This mod is a replacement for their original fashion. Mod works with Cyberpunk 2077 version 2.0+ and works with Mod Settings.

Have you ever wondered why other drivers don't care too much if you hit, scratched or rammed their car while driving? Who pays for the damage?
That is no longer the case, thanks to the NCID (Night City Insurance Department). Like everyone else, you were automatically enrolled in their instant loss resolution system once you got your driver's license.

What does this mod do?

With this mod, if you run into another car in traffic, the cost of the damage will be automatically charged to your bank account. A frontal collision would require more than a minor rear impact. Fortunately, the costs are relatively small (usually not exceeding 100 euros, except for large collisions), but they can be increased through the fashion settings. You can also disable the displayed messages for those who find them annoying.
Parked and unoccupied cars are not subject to insurance, as are those whose driver has lost his ability to work.

1. When driver and owner: You only get paid when you drive the vehicle and one of the vehicles is yours.

2. When driver only: You are charged a fee when you drive a car, but it does not matter if you own one of the cars.

3. When driver or owner: You are charged a fee when you drive a car OR when one of your cars is hit, regardless of whether you are driving a car.

4. Only in possession: You are accused if one of your cars is injured, and it does not matter if you drive it.
Check the new requirements. In the first version of this fashion required only:
