About This Mod

This mod adds the new cyberdeck brand OP to the game. Two of these will allow you to use most or all of the quick attacks available in the game. For those who want everything.


I call these enormously powerful cyberdecks Psychodecs, because no one in the game using these cyber devices can escape without becoming a cyber psycho. It's too much power for them, but maybe enough for us. There are currently two versions: Psychotech Origin and Psychotech Maxima.


Both of these cyberdecks have a significant amount of RAM and an unrealistic number of queakhak slots - 13 and 17 respectively. Why? Well, just because I wanted to see if I could do it right, to be honest. In Origin, 13 slots are enough to outfit all the legendary quickhacks, and in Maxima, 17 slots allow you to use them all. The main difference between the two versions, apart from the number of slots available, is the +25% bonus to most buffs in Maxima. They both contain a long list of abilities, although Maxima has one additional. I really wanted it to be the maximum cheat. I hope you guys find them useful and happy hacking. ?


Note: Psychotech is a play on words. It's a psychotechnology that could potentially make you crazy. I like it, so just agree. Google translations for all languages are already enabled. Once again, these are probably not the best translations, so I'll accept any translations you want to send me and update the files when I can.


12/11/23 update: The next major update for this mod is about 90% ready. It will do much more than this mod initially. There are still a few big bugs left, but once they are resolved, I will upload a functional BETA version. It's still going to work in progress, but for now it's working pretty well and very fun, actually IMO. Look forward!



Creator's notes:


I haven't gone far in the game yet, so I can't fully test these things. I would be grateful if you could tell me how well they work.


Please understand these key things about these cyberdecks:


1. I made them to give us the ability to use most and even all the queekhaks, but that doesn't mean you have to use them all at once. I will not reduce the number of slots, so DON'T ASK FOR THIS! Slots don't give anything by themselves!


2. I have no responsibility for the way the Quickhawks interact with each other and the quirks they create. These decks are unlikely ever to be directly related to any errors in the game. The bugs associated with them are only likely to be related to whether the values and effects are applied correctly.


3. The items themselves are designed to simulate the presence of the best cyberdecks in the game, equipped at the same time. I tried not to exceed the maximum values already used in the game by other Cyberdecks. The highest typical value used in vanilla is 75%, so Maxima uses this value across all parameters. Origin is a more balanced version. I didn't want to overplay the values by putting them at 100% and end up making the gameplay worse, as if activating another level of God's mode.


4. I do not mind making additions and/or changes that seem reasonable and useful to me. In addition, you are free to make your edits for personal use. Just realize that if you edit and break something like your save, at worst it won't be on my conscience. Maybe at some point I'll simplify editing so you can avoid breakdowns, but I promise nothing. This has already happened in version 1.0.3 and later.



How to get:

Update: You can now add an extra Atelier Store file and buy items through it. I haven't added them to the merchants in the game yet, and maybe I won't. If you want to retrieve them immediately, use these commands in the CET console:

Installation:

1. Set all requirements if they are not already set.

2. Unzip the archive into the game catalog.



Uninstall:

1. Delete the files "Psychodeck.archive" and "Psychodeck.archive.xl" from the folder "archive/pc/mod".

2. Delete the Psychodeck folder and its contents from the bin/x64/plugins/Psychodeck/mods folder.
