About This Mod
In the vanilla game, V slowly speeds up when moving from a standing position, the same thing happens when slowing down. However, changing direction while driving is instantaneous and preserves speed, making the controls seem excessively responsive. It works great on the gamepad, but weird on the keyboard.
This mod solves this problem by giving the character air-like inertia. Next, the acceleration values are adjusted to avoid making it too floating/slippery.
Preview how the mod changes motion when you move from left to right (same as when you use a macro).
Installation (CET version):
Download and install the latest version of CET.
Extract this mod to the game root folder, the script should be located at: PathToGame\Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\mods\SmoothMovement
Alternatively, use Vortex to install the mod.
Installation (Tweak-XL version):
Download and install the latest version of Tweak-XL and its dependencies.
Unpack this mod into the game's root folder, the YAML file should be located at: PathToGame\Cyberpunk 2077\r6\tweaks\SmoothMovement.
