NCI Addon - Badlands and Pacifica
About This Mod
Basics:
Addon for interaction with the night city with the drinking establishments outside the main areas of the city. Hot drinks in both Nomad camps, Sunset Motel; plus single drinks at the Betty Hotel and Trailer Park.
New places for partner gatherings in booths/tables! There are not enough places to drink at bar counters in nomadic camps, and even Sunset Motel had few options for bar gatherings.
Why was the division into addons?
The original interaction with the Night City was a huge monolithic mess! All locations, for all neighborhoods, and stuff Edgerunners, all was one scene file that was uploaded always and everywhere in the Night City!
The division of the fashion into separate areas, and within them - separate scenes for each location means that:
- Bugs are easier to fix
- New locations are easier to add
- Individual locations and whole areas need to be loaded only when they are nearby
- Different locations can be more customizable
- Users can be more confident in what is installed and working.
How to install and "run" mod
Extract the .zip file into the Cyberpunk 2077 folder so that the .archive is in the Cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\mod folder.
If the mod works, a pop-up window will appear to inform you (it will appear after the 'core' pop-up if it was installed at the same time).
How to safely remove the supermode
The addon can be safely removed at any time, but if you want to be supervised, just make sure you are not within ~50 of Watson's Bar
and then:
- Remove the file #NCI_BadlandsPacifica.archive from the Cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\mod folder.
Where are the drinking establishments where you can have a drink with your companion?
Nomad Camp 1: Solo after first visit to Panama, teammates after completion of Ghost City
Nomad Camp 2: when they will move there.
Sunset Motel: Any time after visiting Panama.
When can I drink with my companion?
Judy: As soon as she's friendly enough to take calls from you.
Panama: As soon as the nomads move the camp.
River: As soon as you complete the quest in which you meet it
Kerry: As soon as he's friendly enough to take on your challenges.
Where else can V have a drink?
In the stalls in the Trailer Park
At one of the bars at the Betty Inn, near the main windows.
