About This Mod

This mod will remain on the Nexus for those who play on older versions of the game. Otherwise, after 2.0 it is not needed!

It's a simple mod to fix bugs. As a rule, either all mines in the location/group work properly with sound, or none of them. If you look at the code, it's clearly a bug, not an intentional difference in complexity.

Here's how mines should work: When you enter a certain radius around (uncleared) non-contact mines, they make a sound (if it's not a bug) and trigger the timer for the explosion. The timer works regardless of the sound bug. If you leave the radius before the timer ends, a different sound (if not a bug) will be played, indicating that the mine is quieting and you are safe. All mines (not defused) will explode immediately if you pass directly above them.

Some places where I noticed the bug and you can check it out: Cyberpsycho Sighting: House On a Hill and Dancing on a Mine Field in Badlands.
