About This Mod
Removes the Strength proficiency check from the bin in front of Brendan.
Redscript required, but no action by player.
Replaces Work Around - Unblock Brendan, do not hesitate to remove the file help_brandan.archive from "Cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\mod».
Why?
Starting with version 2.0(?), checking Brendan's skills in a landfill can exceed the player's strength, especially if the player does not want to invest points in it!
Previous fixes depended on cheats, commands, or making you equip Gorilla Hands early enough that the check did not exceed them.
In addition, the encoding method does not allow you to add various checks or simply remove/change the difficulty; this thing is quite hard-coded.
How is this different?
I removed the difficulty (in the archive file), which removes the skill check, but then it does not count towards the quest...
Then I updated the code to make the action without skill count!
The updated script is in review, not in action, so if you accidentally move it from a path without a running redscript, it should work when it is installed (to avoid crashing the quest).
How to use:
Install and verify that Redscript is also installed.
Walk to the bin opposite Brendan and interact with him.
Installation:
Extract the primary zip into the "Cyberpunk 2077" folder so that the EasyBrendan.archive archive is in the "Cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\mod»" folder and the EasyBrendan script folder is in "Cyberpunk 2077\r6\scripts".
Uninstall:
Remove EasyBrendan.archive from Cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\mod» and EasyBrendan script from Cyberpunk 2077\r6\scripts.
