About This Mod
Lyanna Lives is a mod that allows you to choose the outcome of the "Tower of Joy" event in the tab "Robert's Rebellion" (282). This mod increases the probability that the child will be a boy by 2 times. There is also the option to disable it if you want the result to remain random.
General information.
This mod allows you to choose the outcome of the chain of events "Tower of Joy" in the tab "Robert's Rebellion" (282).
Maud increases the probability (2 times) that the child will be a boy if the option where John lives is chosen.
There are four different rules for different possible outcomes, and the "Disable" option for those who want to stay randomly with the same weights as usual.
If you use the "Disable" option, only the AGOT: Story Results rule settings will affect the Tower of Joy results.
Maud does nothing with the "Crown Eagle" tab (284).
Disclaimer.
This mod does not guarantee the result of your choice, it only gives an extremely strong push in the direction of your choice.
On rare occasions, there are still situations where the Tower of Joy event is not resolved properly, forcing you to use flashbacks, such as when Leanna flees (disappears without a trace) or when Leanna stays in an obscure place for a long time. Maude doesn't solve these problems.
If you're playing a character who wasn't involved in the Tower of Joy event, you may not immediately find John/Jane/Aamon, even if the desired result is achieved.
If you can't find your child properly, open CK3 debug.log in a text editor and search for "baby_snow" using ctrl+F. Below it you will see the date of birth and the character who gave birth to the child.
TL;DR:
If the selected result can occur in the game, it will be counted in the Tower of Joy event chain.
Version control.
Mod always (within reasonable limits) checks the same version as AGOT.
Compatibility information.
This mod should work with other mods that do not change the behavior of events and story cycles of the Tower of Joy.
