Mandatory kinship
About This Mod
This regime adds a new law of kinship to the window of creation or reform of the faith. This law allows marriage and concubinage only between close relatives (parents, children, siblings, grandparents, grandchildren, cousins, uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces). Physical contact with non-relatives is an offense punishable by imprisonment.
Mandatory kinship is a new law that may be preferred in the Reformation of Faith or the Window of Creation. This law prohibits marriages between spouses who are not blood relatives or who are distant relatives. The same is true of AI. Sexual relationships with unblood relatives provide privacy and can be used to blackmail other characters. Revealing this fact can lend the character disingenuous features, discredit all adherents of the faith, and make imprisonment possible.
Forced Kinship Light:
This is a lightweight version of fashion that adds no serious secrets and only modifies three basic files. It should be easier to tolerate and compatible with other modes. Files changed from the base game: commonreligiondoctrines, common_core_tenets.txt (tenet_divine_marriage); commonreligion_doctrines, common_doctrines. txt (doctrine_consanguinity); commonscripted_triggers, commonscripted_triggers.txt (faith_allows_marriage_consanguinity_trigger)
