About This Mod
Map Texture Replacer gives you the ability to easily replace the textures of grass, land and rocks in your game.
This mod is designed for use with map texture sets. To search for such sets, search for "maptex" on PDXMods.
Fashion features:
- Drop-down lists for easy change of texture sets or individual textures.
- Saving settings between game sessions.
- Adjusting the texture position.
- Replacing individual textures with any jpg/png files from your computer.
- Support for map editor.
This mod is based on the fact that map textures are stored as standard Unity textures, making them easier to read and install.
Map texture sets. In the original game, the default map textures are 4096x4096 for grass, 2048x2048 for land and rocks, although smaller scale textures will be successfully replaced. For example, the Desert Map Theme texture set uses 1024x1024 textures.
