About This Mod

You may not like the default water; use this mod to change the scale and color of the water. This mod is purely cosmetic, it does not affect the physics of water or gameplay. Therefore, it should be safe for your storage.


Presets

This mod comes with a default preset. These presets can be updated by me, but they won't be applied automatically, you'll have to select it in the settings. Since the mod is in the early stages of development, don't be taken by surprise if your user settings are reset. At this point, it is best to record your user settings.


Technical Information

It seems that water rendering is a slightly modified version of HDRP-water system Unity. The game also uses its own water material with a modified water shader. There are 3 bands of simulation at different scales, and each band is simulated. Their offsets are then added together, and smaller stripes are tiled. This, as well as some other textures and parameters are passed to the water shader. In this fashion, the water shader is not modified at all (it would be difficult to do, if you know, let me know). Of course, if CO decides to remake the rendering of water, this mod will stop working.
