About This Mod

IMPORTANT: There may be a problem with Extended Road Upgrades during boot. Where I have used retaining walls from this fashion, there are "failures" on knots. To eliminate this, I enter the map as if creating a new game, and rule the wall in the aisle (it runs parallel to the two railway tracks under the inner "mountain"). After that, when loading my saved city, the walls are displayed correctly, without glitches.


ABOUT THE MAP: The landscape is not tied to the real world. I started with an island map from the base game, because I liked the arrangement of ponds on both sides and mountains on the other two. It was the perfect start for my idea. I filled most of the ocean between the islands, creating a solid land or peninsula, leaving a few islands on the edges - who does not like a piece of island for a unique development! The result was a spacious map suitable for several small towns and one large, or even two. All of this is within natural limits set by mountains and ocean. Forestry and agriculture occupy key positions, and there are significant ore deposits at the foothills. There are also oil deposits.


The map was created during my Twitch stream in February 2024, for my first fashion build. I am particularly pleased with the agricultural area with the irrigation canal. Three bridges were built in advance for a convenient crossing of the canal. Multiple reservoirs are used, so be careful if you are new to water management. At the bottom of the "mountain", closer to the center of the map, passes a picturesque road through the pine/spruce forest. There are double tracks under the road. The inner line (closer to the road) is not connected to the outer line and is intended for local use only.

These are my personal preferences. I like that the grass by default looks a little darker than the other options available. I prefer the view of sandy edges for shores and for custom stones on the coast - Home of Chameleon shows it in the best way. Installation:

- Extract the .cok and .cok.cid files into the AppData/LocalLow/Colossal Order/Cities Skylines II/Maps folder

- If the "maps" folder does not exist in the specified path, create it.
