Reproach of the Old Gods Upgrade.

1. Requirement

:This mode requires a modding script hook.

This mod is designed for Vanilla, and has not been tested in the Legend fashion environment.

2. *****MUST READ***** Two types of mod files.

A. Modifying drop Reproach_of_old_god_upgrade1_lightning_riposte.zip Rachegeist

These three fashion files do not replace the sword of the Vilification of the Ancient Gods. Instead, these mods replace the drop from Rachegeist at the Water Mill when you kill him. So if you already have the original sword Rebuke the Old Gods, these fashions won't improve it. You need to kill Rachegeist. As a result, these mods will be designed for players who have started a new campaign or have not yet cleared the Water Mill. I decided to improve the fallen sword because I didn't know how to deal with the combat difficulty of the Water Mill.

These three fashion files replace the sword "Decorate the Old Gods" with an updated version. If you have already killed the Reaver and you have the original sword of the Vilification of the Ancient Gods, use the mod from these groups. But if you haven't cleared the Water Mill yet, I don't recommend this group because Ratchegeist will bring an improved sword, and the fight at the Water Mill can be difficult at the same time if you don't know,

DO NOT INSTALL MULTIPLE OR ALL ZIP FILES OF THIS MODE. YOU ONLY HAVE TO SELECT ONE MOD AND COPY THE SELECTED VERSION ZIP FILE TO THE DATA FOLDER. Read #4 Update the part for which zip files that update.

3. Backstory: The Vilification of the Ancient Gods is the legendary weapon of the Brothers of War. Players receive the sword after clearing two hostile legendary locations: the Stone Pillar (Kraken) and the Water Mill (Rachegeist). But the IMO is not strong enough to attract more attention and affection, despite its "legendary" quality.

1) The time when players receive the sword usually falls at least in the mid-to-late phase of the game, and all the brothers are armed with 2H weapons in general. The rebuke of the Ancient Gods is a good sword, but not good enough to change or motivate the player's mind to prepare a veteran of the sword 1H or turn the brother of the weapon 2H into the brother of the sword 1H. Thus, even if the players get this sword, it is usually forgotten in the inventory.

2) The 1H sword in BB has some weak points or 2H weapon, low direct damage, no AOE and passive skill Reply. The AI BB is given priority not to engage an opponent in Retaliation Strike or Spearhead (at least at the Expert difficulty level); they prefer to fight other brats or use Shieldwall and wait. Thus, getting the benefit of the Retaliatory Impact as a whole is very limited. In addition, low direct damage will result in no total firepower damage against heavy armor groups in late-stage play. Lightning damage from the Rebuke of the Ancient Gods may compensate for low direct damage, but the overall Sword Characteristic IMHO is not enough to motivate players to try the 1H Sword.

So I tried to give a little benefit to Reproach of the Old Gods to motivate other players to try this sword and try a common assembly of the 1H sword.

4. Update.

This mod enhances the legendary sword Rebuke of the Ancient Gods.

A. Universal improvement

- All upgrade options increase the strength of the Swore of the Old Gods from 90 to 135 (50% more).

- Lightning damage penalty, Parry and Parry Lightning reduced from -10% to -5%, excluding Sword Proficiency. Swordsmanship will remove this penalty.

B. Partial update Total

there are six files. Please select only one file and install it.

1) Reproach_of_old_god_upgrade1_lightning_riposte.zip

This mod replaces Ratchegeist's drop with a new, improved Decor of the Old Gods. The new sword replaces "Strike Back" with "Lightning Response". Lightning Reply is the same counterattack skill as Reply Strike, which adds 10-20 lightning damage to only one target hit by a counter attack. As a result, this improvement does not lead to a massive mental breakdown of the enemy group like Ukor's sword until loosened when the retaliatory strike brought lightning on 3 cells. In addition, the AI does not typically contact the character under response. In the end, I think that this upgrade would not upset the balance.

2) Reproach_of_old_god_upgrade2_parry.zip

This mod replaces Ratchegeist's drop with a new, improved Decor of the Old Gods. The new sword replaces the Strike Back with the Parry. Parrying is the same counterattack skill as Kick Back, and adds a bonus to MDEF and RDEF depending on the character's MATT and the number of enemies in adjacent cells. This is based on the assumption that the sword consists of an otherworldly material forged by a magical method, or both. This can allow the sword to achieve very light weight with incredible strength and endurance, and thus the user can easily strike/parry incoming long range melee attacks. The MDEF and RDEF buffa values are:

- If 0 or 1 enemy in contact: 15% of MATT.

- 2 enemies in contact: 14% of MATT.

- 3 enemies in contact: 13% of MATT.

- 4 enemies in contact: 11% of MATT.

- 5 enemies in contact: 8% of MATT.

- 6 enemies in contact: 5% of MATT.

As you can see, the number of buffas is not so large; even 100 METs will give only +15 MDEF and RDEF in the best condition, which is the same as a wooden shield. So I think the balance would be fine.

2b) Reproach_of_old_god_upgrade2b_self_parry,zip

This mod is the same as #2, but directly replaces the sword without replacing the drop with Rachegeist.

3) Reproach_of_old_god_upgrade3_lightning_parry.zip

This mod combines effect #1 and #2, lightning damage to a single target during Retaliation, and a protection bonus based on MATT and the number of nearby enemies.

3b) Reproach_of_old_god_upgrade3b_self_lightning_parry.zip

This mod is the same as the #3, but directly replaces the sword without replacing the drop with Rachegeist.

4) Reproach_of_old_god_upgrade4_parry_lunge_lightning.zip

Based on the assumption that the sword is composed of an otherworldly material forged by magic, or both, the sword is very light in weight, but has incredible strength and endurance. This feature allows the sword's owner to attempt a piercing attack with this sword. However, since the sword is not designed for piercing, the piercing proficiency is somewhat limited.

In addition to the #3 effect, this mod adds a new Lightning Attack skill. Lightning lunge is similar to lunge, but slightly different in detail:

- Damage simply uses sword damage, not proportional to any character's characteristics.

- Skill deals 10-20 lightning damage to one target, the target of an attack skill.

- Unlike the original lunge skill, the OD cost is 5, and the fat cost is 30.

- Sword Proficiency reduces FAT costs by 25%.

4b) Reproach_of_old_god_upgrade4b_self_parry_lunge_lightning.zip

This mod is the same as #4, but directly replaces the sword, not the drop with Rachegeist.

5) Reproach_of_old_god_upgrade5_parry_chain_lightning.zip

The character learns to resonate with the sword, gaining the ability to control the energy of the sword in the direction of the target away from it, but still at close range.

In addition to the #3 effect, this mod adds a new skill, CLightning. Chain Lightning is a long-range attack spell with the following details.

"This skill doesn't include a sword attack. This skill just brings lightning.

- The character must select a target within a three-cell radius.

- Lightning strike probability is 60% of determination and 40% of fatigue. In case of failure, lightning does not appear at all. In case of success, lightning will appear on the target. Lightning then spreads to 4 additional cells, dealing damage up to 5 targets.

- This lightning has a damage of 20-30, OD consumption of 5, and Fat consumption of 25.

- Swordsmanship does not reduce the cost of this skill.

5b) Reproach_of_old_god_upgrade5b_self_parry_chain_lightning.zip

This mod is the same as #5, but directly replaces the sword, not the drop with Rachegeist.

6) Reproach_of_old_god_upgrade6_all.zip

This mod combines the effects of #3, #4 and #5.

This mod is the same as #6, but directly replaces the sword, not the drop with Rachegeist.

7) Reproach_of_old_god_upgrade7_noparry_others.zip

This mod combines the effect of #1, #4 and #5 = reciprocal zipper + zipper + chain zipper, without counteracting zipper.

This mod is the same as #7, but directly replaces the sword, not the drop from Rachegeist.

Do not copy all 6 of them to the data folder. You only need to select one zip file and copy it to the data folder.
