About This Mod

Important Note: If a subclass is not available at level 3, try moving it to the bottom of your load order.

Level 3:

Counterattack: When a creature misses or hits you with a melee attack, expend a counter-attack charge to make one melee attack against the creature. Hitting your AC increases by 1 until the beginning of your next turn, and the target receives a "Rollback" condition by 2 moves. The bonus to AC increases to 2 at level 10, and the Staggering condition increases to 3 moves at level 7 and 4 moves at level 10.


Counter-attack charge: At 3rd level you have four counter-attack charges, and at 7th level you get another charge. You will recover all spent charges after completing a short or long rest.


Lightning Strike: Once you have made an attack, you can make an unarmed attack using your bonus action. Damage is 1d4 + StrengthModifier and increases to 1d6 at level 7, and 1d8 at level 10. (You'll notice in the magazine that it subtracts 1 from damage. This is done to negate the +1 basic damage applied to unarmed strikes because I couldn't figure out how to disable it.)




Level 7:

Lightning Reflexes: Your initiative bonus is increased by 2.


Fearless Advance: Rush forward, attacking all hostile creatures in your path. Deals weapon damage and knocks down targets lying on an unsuccessful save.




Level 10:

Combat Meditation: Enter combat meditation before the next move begins. During this time, you will recover one counter-attack charge, gain resistance to all damage, gain advantage on all saving throws, and increase your movement speed by 10 feet. In addition, any successful attacks you make are critically damaging. You can use this feature once and recover all spent uses after completing a short or long rest.Except


that, at level 10, if your counter-attack hits, you have the advantage of attacking with weapons until the end of your next turn.
