About This Mod

WHAT IT DOES

The Wasteland workshop has been equipped with Behemoth, the Mirelurk Queen, a watchbot, a blueprint and a robot. The hippopotamus and the myrlurk queen can be tamed with a beta wave emitter.

Both super mutant Behemoth and Queen Mirelurk add +10 to the settlement's defense rating!

An additional upgrade to Automatron brings more variety to the game with captured robots.

Just found out that Karel2015 created a mod with almost the same idea 5 days before my fashion, so if you like this idea, check out also Wasteland Workshop - New Cages!

HOW TO SET

Extract the contents of the rar file into the Fallout4/data folder.

Enable MoreCages.esp by using the mod manager or manually.

Optionally, enable MoreCages_Automatron.esp if you have Automatron DLC, using the mod manager or manually. MoreCages.esp is required for MoreCages_Automatron.esp!

Make sure these strings appear in Fallout4Prefs.ini or Fallout4Custom.ini:

COMPATIBILITY

Fallout 4 Wasteland Workshop DLC is required.

HOW TO USE IN THE GAME

You will find new cells in the Workshop menu under Medium Cages and Large Cages.

KNOWN ISSUES

The collisions of some enlarged meshes are not ideal. I was unable to import the new DLC nif files into either 3DS Max or Blender, so I had to use NifSkope and the results are far from perfect. Functionally, the mod works 100%, just its quality is not polished to my taste, and sometimes the creatures crawl out the wrong side of the cells.

If someone can help me to properly scale collisions for animated furniture objects in NifSkope or any other tool that currently works with the latest Fallout 4 DLC nif files, I would be very grateful! Otherwise, I will fix these issues as soon as the CK is released.
