Plasma Arc Rifles
About This Mod
The most mechanical weapon in the game is not the best choice for characters who have the most reason to use it. The characters from Forge World and Pascal are better suited to plasma and melt guns, while the arc rifle has long struggled for choice in the exotic weapons family. With this change, the arc rifle will now be the first weapon in the family. Installation This mod requires MicroPatches version 1.17.4+ to work. The easiest way to install is through Modfinder; if you don't use ModFinder, you need to unzip the folder into the game's Modifications folder. The path will be roughly C:³³ Users³ Me³ AppData³ Local³ Low³ Owlcat Games³ Warhammer 40000 Rogue Trader³ Modifications. If the folder is there, you may need to edit the OwlcatModificationManagerSettings.json file. It is one level above the mods folder. It should be {'$id':'1', 'SourceDirectories':[], 'EnabledModifications':[jhArcPlasma], 'ActiveModifications':[jhArcPlasma], ' DisabledModifications':[]}. You will need to add two entries for jhArcPlasma according to the format above. After editing this file, start the game and the mod should appear in the in-game mod tools (not in the built-in mod manager Unity).
