About This Mod
If the US asserts its Manifesto destiny, it may decide to lay claim to Mexico’s northern territories. This would immediately trigger a war of subjugation for Mexico. Once Mexico is in control, the Treaty of Guadeloupe-Hidalgo will give the US three options:
To annex the territories they claim north of the Rio Grande.
To annex the territories they claim south of the Rio Grande, including several states.
Retain US control over Mexico in all of these cases.
