Sound sets: GE 7FDL (Dash 8, Dash 9, Genesis)
About This Mod
Sounds of General Electric 7FDL for most of the applicable locomotives in the workshop. Many mods already use some of these sound files, but this mod aims to standardize sound sets, improve cutouts, and reduce the number of redundant files for future mods of GE locomotives. Includes 12 and 16 cylinder sounds for:
Dash 7: B30-7A, C36-7
Dashboard 8: B40-8, B40-8W, C32-8, C39-8, C40-8W
Dashboard 9: C44-9W
Genesis: P32AC-DM, P40DC, P42DC
All the lines of the above locomotives must be supported, with a few precise beeps characteristic of each railway. The vanilla C40-8W is also updated, but repainting of this model is not supported, as is the obsolete P42DC model.
The locomotives will signal once or twice when leaving the stations (closeDoors event). The air compressor will turn on from time to time, although when it happens, it depends on the length of the train (strange game thing).
This mod also patches B40-8 mods that had too bright light, and removes the flashing animation from C36-7.
The boot order does not matter.
