About This Mod

This mod makes your weapon invisible when it's in the holster, and visible when you take it out of the scabbard, with a visual effect.


It will be a great addition to my other Magic Spells for Signs fashion, and also, I think, for anyone who uses AMM or something like that.


To make the mod work, you need to buy a new item from the merchant Aurieri and just keep it in inventory. Alternatively, you can use the console command

ghost_of_the_sun

which will give you a new item.

If you want to turn off the fashion features, simply put this item in a cache or drop it somewhere, and then reequip the weapon in the inventory menu.


There are settings you can change to customize your mod:

- Visual effect - turns the new visual effect on/off.

- Additional Animation - Toggles additional short animations when the sword is exposed.

- No animation - enables/disables standard vanilla animations when removing scabbards and dragging the sword.

- Left hand effect - toggles the visual effect for the left hand on/off.


Important points and concerns:

- It is better to play when all settings are on, however, if you only need the main function - hide and show the weapon when putting on and removing the scabbard, you can set all options to the OFF position.

- Crossbow animations haven't changed, they're pretty simple, and the changes wouldn't be noticeable anyway.

- Does not work in scenes (?).


Installation:

Extract the 'bin', 'dlc' and 'mods' folders into the 'Witcher 3' folder, and do not use any installation managers. Use Script Merger if you have other mods.

If you get errors when compiling scripts, combine mods manually. It's easy, just open my mod files other than those in the 'local' folder, and look for

//invisible weapons
