About This Mod
To remove the initial "Microsoft Studios" and "Undead Labs" splash screens when starting a game:
1. **Find the game directory**. Typically, the path is `C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GameTitle`. Or look in other Steam folders if you didn't install it there.
2. **Look for splash files**. They are usually located in the game's resource folders. We need to find files related to these logos. Names may vary. For example: "MicrosoftLogo.wmv", "UndeadLabsLogo.wmv" or something similar.
3. **Change file names**. Simply rename the files found (for example, add "_old" at the end of the name). This does not remove them, but simply makes them inactive for the game.
4. **Alternative way**: If renaming doesn't work, you can try to replace files with empty or very short files. For example, create an empty file with the same name and extension. Or, replace the files with single-pixel images.
5. **Start the game**. Screensavers should no longer be displayed. If everything is successful, you can no longer worry about them! If something goes wrong, just return the filenames back.
