About This Mod

This mod changes the appearance of every potential spouse in Skyrim, excluding argonian, because I already like them. I'm a woman and I play a woman, so I wanted to have a couple of options for men to marry that look like they've been showering for the last week. The biggest visual improvement of each NPC was the removal of a million layers of dirt and red/blue makeup. Wash your faces, people, it's important.


I didn't want it to be all male wyfu mod, so I designed each character's appearance to suit their particular lifestyle. Merchants and wizards are more likely to have flowing, smooth hair, while warriors may have scars and more practical hairstyles. I also wanted to preserve the range of ages and looks that existed in the vanilla game (from a young boy with a baby face to an older warrior with grizzlies). In general, I aimed to make the potential spouses less painful in appearance and more memorable/unique.
