About This Mod
The Hunter's Cabin in Riverwood is a free house available to all players almost immediately after the game starts. Perfect fashion for those who want to have a beautiful, simple but functional home from the beginning, without feeling that you are destroying or contradicting the story.
This is NOT the player's final home, for the simple reason that it should not be.
It's simple: find the note from the owner on the porch. It will guide you to the Embershard mine (the first "Mine" icon that will appear on your compass when you escape Helgen). Once in the mine, make your way to the treasure room (it can not be missed), there you will find the key "Key to the hunter's hut" and the report of the gangster (if you are interested in backstory). Finish the dungeon and exit through the back entrance, and when you step outside, just continue towards Riverwood.
If you are having problems with a key, note, or report not being displayed in the game, you need to sort the order in which it is loaded. Move the "RiverwoodHuntingCabin.esp" file down a bit in the boot order and try again. This mod should be downloaded one of the last.
