Campfire - Complete Camping System (Skyrim VR Supports)

Campfire is the most versatile independent mod for camping in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It was created on the basis of the unique, exciting camping system Frostfall 2.6. Now you can enjoy the unrivaled camping experience combined with your other favorite modes of survival and diving.

Break a fire - from a small fragile spark to a bright flame - and cook food on it with a bowl (or just fry right over the flame), and sit with your followers around the fire. Big bonfires are uplifting and inspiring, giving bonuses to skill-building.

Create and buy travel gear using items from around the world. Build tents, sun stands, portable enchantment kit and more. Wear all of your extra gear in Campfire backpacks that dynamically display a sleeping bag, torch, cooking pot, ax, and water skin. Your followers (up to 3 people, plus one animal) will sit or sleep with you in a tent or sit with you by the campfire. If your follower is a spouse, he will even stick with you when you sleep in the tent (only for the vanilla marriage system).

Search for resources (using the "Collect Wood" ability) to search the surrounding area for buckthorn and branches. Use them to create axes, arrows and other useful things. The new "Sight of Instincts" ability allows you to see creatures making noise, smell bodies of the dead (including undead), and, in addition, show the direction towards the quest's current goal.

Build your skills with Campfire's unique skill system, modeled after the base game's pen system. Campfire has a camping skill that allows you to build more long-lasting fires, find more resources, see more with your Instinct ability, and more.

Campfire is also light weight and does not contain constantly running background scripts; everything happens on demand, as you would expect from a separate mod for camping, so the impact of Campfire on performance is small.

Campfire is also the basis for other mods such as Frostfall 3 and the upcoming Last Seed. It's a stable, shared platform on which I build my mod set on to survive, to ensure deep integration between them and at the same time allow them to be self-reliant.

Want to create your own tents and accessories for use in Campfire? Campfire is also a modder framework that allows you to easily create your own camping equipment without requiring any code. Just follow the instructions, fill in some properties and you will get new camping equipment in no time. Moreover, you can spread your creations as your own mod.
