About This Mod

Adds 10 new modes of operation for mechanoids:


Find and destroy - Mechanoids of any type will seek out enemies and strive to destroy them.


Work and recharge - Mechanoids work autonomously depending on their type. When the work is finished or impossible, the mechanoid enters the mode of inactivity. (Similar to existing, but for all types of mechanoids).


Maintenance and recharging - Mechanoid, regardless of type, will follow the observer and proceed to recharging if necessary.


Work, recharge and accompany - Mechanoid will accompany the observer if he does not have work, as well as, if necessary, go into charging mode.


Wait for the enemy - Mechanoid goes into sleep mode and waits for the enemy to appear, then activates and heads to the target.


Work and wait - Mechanoids will do the work depending on the type, but, if the enemy appears, they will immediately stop their activities and go to destroy it. If there is no work, they will simply go into a state of inactivity. (The idle time is longer than waiting for enemy.)


Ambush - The mechanoid turns off and waits for the enemy to approach, then attacks.


Defend - Mechanoid, regardless of type, attacks enemies who have come to a dangerous distance.


Accompany if enemy - Mechanoids will accompany the observer only if there are enemies on the map. When there are no enemies, they go into inaction mode.


Work if safe - Mechanoids will work only in the absence of enemies on the map. If a threat occurs, they will try to find a safe place.


Behavior features:


Checking for enemies on the map - if the enemy is available and is outside the zone where the mechanoid is working, the check returns False, and the mechanoid continues to function in normal mode.


What it means:


When you use the "Work if safe" mode and restrict the working area, the mechanoid ignores the attack until the enemy enters its working area.


Using Find and Destroy and restricting the movement of the mechanoids to a small, open area, they will not pursue opponents, but will try to attack the enemy in sight. This can cause your enemies to lure your mechanoids.


Smart charging - in some modes, the mechanoids will keep the charge level close to the maximum. This is achieved by the formula (maximum charge level - 5), that is, if the charge is set to 100%, the mechanoids will be charged to 95%, etc. But unlike standard charging, mechanoids can interrupt the charging process if necessary.


Idle mode - Some modes of operation optimize energy consumption by putting mechanoids in an idle state when they are not busy. The time spent in this mode is much longer than in combat mode.


Finding a place - Mechanoids will complete all work and prepare to go into the mode of inactivity, go to the nearest suitable place, if available. The location description lists the supported modes and sample search criteria.
