About This Mod

Vanilla Outposts Expanded is easy to imagine as a simplified alternative to, say, Empire fashion. Players will be able to collect caravans and travel to specific locations on the global map. There they will build various structures - outposts, small settlements and simple camps. Each of these facilities will provide their own bonuses, which depend on the composition of the colonists and their skills.


Fashion is far from overly complex. On the contrary, we have made every effort to make it clear and seamlessly fit into the game. Outposts are ideal for getting rid of unwanted colonists - they do not need to be maintained, and you do not have to micromanage them. They'll take care of their own supplies. Your job is to select the right location and send the right number of settlers. In essence, it is analogous to Frostpunk outposts, where all processes are autonomous, without your direct involvement.


But remember, you can raid outposts. After the attack, the game forms a map of this outpost with all its inhabitants, and you have to protect it from the attackers.


From time to time, outposts will send pack animals with resources to your camp. Just build a drop-off point for the outpost, and the animals will deliver the prey there. Remember the strategic importance of defensive outposts, especially in the later stages of the game. They'll be able to fortify your other communities by sending landing pods.


Vanilla Expanded Framework is required for mod operation.
