About This Mod

VFE-Insectoids 2 is based on the supremacy of the original fashion. While the focus was on changing the fashion theme to include only objects and mechanics related to insects, the new version includes several very extensive and new systems that greatly improve your interaction with the insect hive.


Get ready for the release of Vanilla Factions Expanded - Insectoids 2 and learn how the insect theme will expand in the game. Here is what it includes:


- Challenge and fight the new bosses: Prepare to fight the new formidable insectoid bosses. Explore, build bells and call bosses to test your fighting skills!

- Create your own insect nest and manage it: have you ever wanted to manage your own insect nest? Now you can! Collect resources, bring out new insect species, and create a bustling activity center: Hivetech offers bizarre solutions to some of the game's problems!

- New structures and defensive structures, from unique walls that can only be built by insectoid creatures to defensive structures that protect your colony - this mod presents a number of innovative designs that improve the gameplay.

- Dynamic combat missions: be prepared for unexpected attacks and battles. Mod changes the nature of insectoid attacks, turning each encounter into a unique test.

- Exciting quests and events in the world: take part in new quests and events in the world related to the invasion of insectoids. Defense against hordes, attacks and much more - you will not be bored.

In this remaster, we removed things that didn't fit into the subject, like plasma weapons, archeological artifacts, and new genetic manipulations of insects. These mechanics will be restored in other mods as much as possible.
