About This Mod
Vanilla Books Expanded is a fashion that allows settlers to pass on their knowledge and skills to others. Pawns can pass on their ideas and knowledge by writing books on certain scientific fields or skills, and when these books are read, they can teach others the same skills. Reading books is a new form of entertainment in which pawns choose the most appropriate books according to their passions and skills, and happily develop them.
The books contain complex descriptions, and players can learn about the contents of the book in the fun and interesting style of RimWorld. Later technologies allow them to create newspapers that give them pleasure, but the speed at which they lose them becomes faster. In addition, the traders can get maps and drawings, the first open quests, and the second - technology!
Writing a book takes time - no one can write a book overnight, but the more skilled the colonizer in this field of knowledge, the higher the quality and value of the book. In this mode, you can build a huge library and let the pawns study the books on your schedule. I spent dozens of hours reading books, making different phrases to make them as interesting as possible!
