"Outland - Toxic Forest" mod
About This Mod
A stand-alone module for Outland that implements the Toxic Forest biome, a deadly zone in which it will be extremely difficult for an untrained player to survive. The Biom is full of a unique ecosystem where poisonous flora thrives and where creatures that have adapted to live in such specific conditions inhabit.
While the inspiration for this work was drawn from Ghibli's film Nausicaä of the Valley of the Winds, it is by no means certain that the module seeks to ideally recreate the mechanic RimWorld.
In addition to the biome, the module contains elements that make it easier to survive in toxic areas. Cultures that produce poisonous-neutralizing dishes and animals that are immune to toxins, which can be used as pack animals or on horseback, are available.
When using Outland - Core, the player will have additional options: a script, toxic-resistant clothing and an outdated, but reliable, slow rifle.
