About This Mod

Clockwork and Steam is a mod that adds steampunk style to Rimworld. Nowadays, fashion adds new workbenches, resources, weapons, clothing, turrets, buildings and dentures. In connection with the theme of this fashion, craftsmanship will play an important role, as the manufacture of many components takes a considerable amount of time. We hope to add automation for these components in a future release.


Some Fashion Features


Steam system - C&S adds a semi-realistic steam system to the game. It creates boilers, pipes and batteries to power various machines and generators.

Resources - C&S adds many new ores such as copper, tin, zinc, rubies and sapphires which are used in various recipes.

Desks - C&S adds several new desks, including a clock table, a steam forge table, a tesla casting table, an alchemy table, a chemical laboratory, a clock table and an alloy oven.

These tables will be used for the production of items and materials of different levels and types used in fashion.

Weapon - C&S will add many new weapons including electrostatic rifles, steam rifles, circular saws, blade staff, timed bows and ruby-beam guns. All these weapons have a specific purpose and effect. Some (such as a circular saw) give bonuses to certain skills. Others (such as an electrostatic rifle) give new effects to the pawns they hit.

Prosthetic limbs - C&S adds clock and steam machine analogs to many parts of the body. These parts differ in their functionality (an artificial stomach made from treated leather is unlikely to work as well as natural). Also, internal organs may cause copper rot.

Automation - C&S adds multiple machines. These machines can be used to automate the production of basic components used in fashion.
