About This Mod
Pixel Perfect Repacking - Update 1.1
(Restored sprite sheet using pixel-perfect repacking in TexturePacker)
Install:
Extract and extract fonts.zip
Go to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Red Dead Redemption\game
Move fonts.rpf to this directory and replace the existing file.
Delete:
If you want to revert to the original files, right-click the game in the Steam library, click Properties, click the Installed Files tab, and then click Check Game File Integrity. This will replace the modified files with the original versions.
Important considerations:
- Unfortunately, higher resolution is not supported for the user interface due to XML scaling limitations, which makes the icons look too large.
- Some icons were recreated manually, as they were not in the game files. If someone finds the original RDR. icons, I will gladly update them.
- The text SHARE and OPTIONS has been replaced with PS5 START/SELECT buttons to improve consistency.
Redesigned icons:
- L2 and R2 (only when displayed side by side) - recreated with changed positions (not in original style)
- R/L Directionals - recreated arrows
- PS5 START/SELECT buttons - replaced with SHARE/OPTIONS text due to shadow scaling problems.
Everything else remains the same as in the original.
