About Fine LOD


Fixed the problem of low resolution / cloudy / slow loading textures, which appears when tessellation is turned on.

Corrects too low a level of water rendering when the view is above the surface.

Reduces the amount of time that stones and vegetation appear around the player, making it difficult to "get around" them.

Significantly reduces the annoying glitch when the prop disappears when flying close to the surface, and then reappears.

Increases LOD switching distance, making high-resolution models appear faster (works only if the planet's quality is set to ultra).

Slows the appearance of clouds.

Removes third-party logos from the start screen.


Side Effects


Slight decrease in fps.


Notes


If you find that mod has an undue influence on frame rate, you can try to reduce the quality of shadows or GTAO. Or both.

If the game complains about obsolete drivers, update them.
