Discipline


Maud replaces the passive prey produced by various types of frigates with items suitable for mid-game and late-game play.


The loot produced by these frigates (magnetized ferrite, condensed carbon, units) in vanilla games is of little value at a time when players are spending time and units acquiring a fleet of frigates and upgrading them to a reasonable level. I decided to replace these resources with more valuable items to make the deca frigates between missions truly worthwhile.


Based on a maximum of 50 points in the reserved statistics for the specified frigate type:


Industrial frigates produce up to 10 rescue operations

Commercial frigate to produce up to 20 contaminated metals

Auxiliary frigates are produced in up to 5 base cells


To balance the situation, the time to create one mining instance was increased to 10 minutes (default is 30 seconds).


In addition, the messages displayed in Starship Communicator were changed in October to identify the new loot, and are now highlighted in several colors. The search button "Pick up the load" was also changed to "Pick up the load".

Customize:


Players using LUA scenarios have the ability to tailor the mode features to their liking, from reducing the time between deck instances to the messages displayed in communicator by changing the type of items generated. Read the comments in the LUA file to learn about the different types of variables used!




Known Issues:


After setting up the mode, collecting the first loot from this frigate can reward the player with hundreds of new items, and since this effect is not intended, the player is asked to discard these items.
