About This Mod

A simple mod that renames and/or moves some settlements to match their original locations from Warband.

Description:

This mod simply renames and transfers some settlements to match the existing laura from Warband. We don't promise 100% accuracy, but it's as good as it can be without touching the actual location of the settlements on the map. We have not forgotten that Calradia is a dynamic world, so it is logical that some settlements have different names than their counterparts from Warband (as the action takes place 200 years later), but in general we tried to adhere to similar naming principles. We are open to suggestions if they are constructive.

Changes:

Here are the settlements we renamed:

Ocs Hall > Rovalt (Vlandianized Fisherman, since we assume the name comes from here.)

Rovalt > Tirby (We assume this is where Warband's Tyr is located.)

Tirby Castle > Bullin & Tirby Castle > Bullin (Based on Bullin's location in Warband.)

Castle Verecsand > Castle Sunor (We know that many miss Suno, so we tried to turn it on, but only made the castle. It is logical that after 200 years it turns into a big city.)

Sargot > Velucand (Sargot is located approximately where Veluca is in Warband. We have adapted its name to conform to the naming principles of Bannerlord.)

Car Banseth > Sargot (The most obvious change. We do not believe that Sargot could change his location from a southern city in Bannerlord to a northern city in Warband in just 200 years.)

Charas > Jaculan (Charas roughly corresponds to the location of Jhelkala, and again, it has been vandalized.)

Jaculan > Dumar (We decided to rename Jaculan to Dumar because it is located in the village of Dumar of Warband. From the lord's point of view, it could have been destroyed in war, so in Warband it is only a village.)

Tractorae > Charas (We think Charas is a precursor to Sharise, because the locations are roughly the same, and the names sound similar.)

Revyl > Varcheg & Varcheg > Revyl (For some strange reason, TW changed the locations of the cities, but kept the names. We swapped them to make sure everything was right.)

Talivel > Ocs Hall (We decided to leave Ocs Hall as a village that in 200 years turns into a city we know.)

Installation

Unzip the file, then place the Lore Friendly Names and Locations folder in your game's Modules folder. The boot order must not be a value.

Compatibility:

It should be compatible with every mod because it is just a modification of the settlements.xml file. It must also be compatible with saves. Let us know if you have any compatibility issues.

Acknowledgements and offers:

This mod started out as a personal change only for Sargot, but thanks to a lot of ideas and research from abbtolchester, it turned into what it is now, and we decided to release it here. I recommend using our other mod "Less Celtic Battanian Location Names", which was his idea, and I helped with editing. He renames the Battanese settlements to make them look less Celtic, but in line with the lord.
