About This Mod

Wooden Tools Are Dumb Mod (1.20.4) replaces the wooden pickaxe and ax with more realistic tools and offers several additional features. You've probably heard of it before. There are smaller fashions adding flint tools and grass fibers, as well as larger fashions such as MITE that completely change the game.

How to use

To get started:

You'll be terrified of a wooden pickaxe. You understand the need to make the early game simple and understandable, but it's not for you. Not anymore.

You want to dive.

You need a call. Feelings of achievement as you move from one stage of creating a tool to another. This is the main thing that the authors of this fashion try to give. Feeling a little victorious when you make your first stone pick. This is something that the original game does not have.

You need a tree:

Woodpunches don't work. You get flint, you get sticks, you make a flint ax.

The first step is not all that difficult. You may want to make a craft table and chest before continuing.

Cobbles are needed.

There are three ways to get cobbles in this fashion:

Simple Mode: Create a flint pickaxe, break up the stone blocks until the pickaxe breaks and you're done with this mod. Yes, there is nothing complicated about this method, but at least it is more realistic than a wooden pickaxe. In either case, hard mode is enabled by default.

Nothing mode: If other modes offer ways to get cobbles (such as flint tools or stones on the ground), and you prefer other systems (what's wrong with that?), then this way simply sets the fashion back after the flint ax. You can't make anything else. At your own risk.

Hard Mode: It's the way the author wanted an early game to be played.
