About This Mod

Structure Gel API (1.20.1) is an API mod designed to make it easier for developers, especially those using the Jigsaw system, to create structures. All code is open source and well documented.

Features:

Structure Gel Block:

This block is a creative tool for easily filling the insides of structures. The gel is replaced by air when the structure is created, and all air is ignored when placed. This ensures that the structure does not have natural relief where there should not be any. Gel blocks behave in the same way as structure cavities and can be seen when passing by.

Placing gel while sneaking can trigger a spreading mechanism. Each gel spreads differently and the mechanism can be learned by hovering over the item.

Red Gel: The red gel uses the default spreading mechanism and spreads along the cardinal direction.

Blue Gel : Blue gel works the same as red, but does not spread where the sky is visible.

Green gel: Green gel spreads the same as red, but in a diagonal direction. This allows it to fit through ivy-covered corners or complex structures. Be careful not to let it leak outside the building.

Blue Gel: Spreads diagonally and avoids the sky.

Orange Gel: Orange Gel works the same as red, but distance its spread depends on the number of gels you hold when placing it, making it useful for building in open spaces.

Yellow Gel: Yellow Gel only spreads along the plane you are facing when placing it, which makes it ideal for sealing holes in walls, windows and other places where gel may bleed through.

Gel Removal

Gel can be removed using gunpowder. The use of gunpowder causes a chain reaction that removes all gels of the same type.

Example This is an example of a use in a building. When this structure is loaded into the game, the gels inside are replaced with air, and no air is placed outside.
