About This Mod
Guarding Mod (1.20.1) is a simple and understandable fabric mod designed to enhance the shields in Minecraft. New mechanics and unique enchantments allow players to further customize their defensive strategies and combat tactics. One notable addition is the introduction of parry, which allows players to perfectly calibrate block times and apply parry to throw enemies back. Maud also introduces new enchantments, such as Pummeling, which increases the rollback when parried, and Barbed, which adds spikes to the shield. The addition of Netherlight Shield allows players to choose a sturdy, fireproof and impact resistant shield. Maud also introduces a shield decoration that allows armor decorations to be used instead of banners to decorate the shield. With Instant Lock, the shields will now lock quickly, like a combat test shot, making combat smoother and more responsive. Overall, the expansion of the shield mechanics and the addition of new enchantments enrich the gameplay of Minecraft and provide players with improved defenses and combat versatility.
